In 2010, the former Morgan company launched the Morgan six generation type, the difference between the Morgan six generation and the five generation is mainly in the nozzle, the former nozzle adopts the nested structure, due to the replaceable and vulnerable inner sleeve, so that the nozzle consumption cost is reduced by about half; In addition, the water tank is equipped with a water intercepting nozzle, which relies on the gas sealing water on the surface of the rolled piece, and the compressed air consumption is larger. Although Morgan's fifth and sixth generation nozzles are the most used, they have many shortcomings, such as excessive consumption of wearing parts, unsatisfactory cooling capacity, slow reduction of rolling parts temperature after water penetration, too long steel blocking treatment time, complex nozzle structure, excessive spare parts capital occupancy costs, etc., which is also an important factor restricting the improvement of operation rate. The American Bodsboro type, the German Simak type, the Italian Danieli type and the American Morgan type also have the above difficult problems to solve. In response to the above problems, the quick-pack model is based on the Danieli cooler prototype, which is independently developed by theoretical optimization and water penetration simulation test bench verification. The advent of the cooler successfully solved the difficult problem of the above equipment, and its structure is shown in Figure 1.
No matter the nozzle or cooling pipe and other components of the cooler, the parts that are not in contact with the rolled parts are made of stainless steel, and the wearing parts that are in contact with the rolled parts are not all selected high-alloy and long-life resistant materials. The cooling water tank and the water cooling beam in the slow cooling section are the same in structure as the Morgan type. The water beam in the water tank is equipped with a cleaning water discharge device, so that the dirt in the water beam is washed and discharged regularly, to ensure that the cooling water in the water beam flows smoothly, the water quality is clean, and the water supply of the nozzle is sufficient. The water tank cover and water baffle are made of 5mm steel plate, designed as a maze waterproof structure, to ensure that the water in the water tank is not sprayed to the outside of the water tank, and to keep the production equipment and production environment clean and beautiful.
Structure: The length of each cooling water tank is generally 8~10m, including 8~10 main cooling nozzles (see Figure 1), and the end is provided with 2 water interceptors and 1 blower. The water tank is a lower drainage structure, and the nozzle, water interceptor, blower and cooling pipe are quick disassembly and quick installation.

PLC control system adopts Siemens S7-300 for process control, and chooses Advantech industrial computer as the upper computer. This configuration has proved to be ideal both in response speed and control accuracy.
