On November 8, 2019, the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology publicly solicited opinions on the "Guidelines for the Construction of Intelligent Mines in the Non ferrous Metals Industry (Draft for Comments)," "Guidelines for the Construction of Intelligent Smelting Factories in the Non ferrous Metals Industry (Draft for Comments)," and "Guidelines for the Construction of Intelligent Processing Factories in the Non ferrous Metals Industry (Draft for Comments). The above guidelines are to implement the work deployment of the 2018 Central Economic Work Conference on "increasing the technological transformation and equipment upgrading of the manufacturing industry, accelerating the pace of 5G commercial use, and strengthening the construction of new infrastructure such as artificial intelligence, Industrial Internet, and the Internet of Things".
